TRAILFORGE

Privacy promise

We do not sell your location, your pins, your photos, or your hunt.

What we store: your account, the clubs you join, pins and tracks you save, stand reservations, journal entries, and trail-cam photos you upload. Club members you invite can see what you put on that club map. Guests can look and cannot edit.

Live location is off until you turn it on. It is shared only with the active club, and it expires after the hours you pick (2, 4, or 8). Closing the share deletes it. We do not keep a history of your breadcrumb for other people.

Offline map tiles stay on your phone. They are not uploaded.

Payments go through Stripe. We store the plan on your account, not your card number.

We keep first-party counts in our own database: page views, a random id stored on your phone, home-screen installs and launches, Get the App taps, and the day you created an account. Those counts do not include map coordinates. We do not sell them. We do not use a third-party analytics pixel or an advertising tracker.

Species suggestions send one photo to the model only when you tap the button. We do not scan your gallery in the background.

Property lines come from free public layers. Full statewide owner names are shown only when that layer publishes them: Wisconsin, Massachusetts, Vermont, Connecticut, Florida, Arkansas, Alaska, Iowa, North Carolina, Montana, Colorado, West Virginia, Wyoming. Ohio, California, Utah, Hawaii, Maryland, New Jersey, Maine, Nebraska, North Dakota, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Virginia, Washington draw parcel lines only. Some counties, not a full statewide layer: New York (some counties), Minnesota (some counties), Indiana (some counties), Tennessee (some counties), Pennsylvania (some counties). Where there is no statewide feed, the map asks the Census which county you are looking at and loads that county’s public parcel service if we have one (AL, AZ, DE, DC, GA, ID, IL, IN, KY, KS, LA, MI, MN, MO, MS, NM, NV, OK, OR, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, VA, WA, WY). Not every county in those states is connected. We do not invent owner names. The phone asks the feed for the view you are looking at. We do not copy that list onto our server. The map always says boundaries are approximate — verify on site and with county records.

You can delete pins and leave a club. Account settings has Delete my account. That cancels a Stripe subscription on the account and deletes the profile, private pins, tracks, journal, cameras, and memberships stored here. Packs already saved on a phone stay on that phone until you delete them in Saved packs.

Questions about a specific lease’s data stay with that club’s owner. We will not hand a club map to a non-member.
